I am a retired University Professor and Research Scientist, based in Brisbane, offering individual tuition in maths, physics and chemistry.

I am passionate about teaching. I believe I can inspire students to understand and embrace these subjects in a way that helps them to carry their knowledge into later life.

Rather than just "going by the book", I believe I offer students a unique opportunity to benefit from my own dedication to the discovery of new knowledge through experimental and theoretical research in physics and chemistry.

My past career in University teaching and scientific research, both in Australia and in top international Universities and research centres, means that my experience in maths, physics and chemistry is deep and diverse.

Experience:

I was a dedicated research scientist for over 35 years in the field of chemical physics, with my own University experimental laboratory devoted to exploring fundamental knowledge in the broad areas of molecular physics, molecular quantum mechanics, atmospheric science and laboratory astrophysics.

I have tutored High School and University students throughout my academic career.

Now that I am retired, I can provide high school students with a very unique tutoring service to assist them in their journey towards achieving the best possible outcome in preparing for their chosen career in life.

Hourly Rate Specifics

My standard rates are $75 per session. Sessions are typically an hour and a quarter. Longer sessions, when required, are charged at a mutually acceptable rate.

My underlying philosophy is to give you an exceptional tutoring outcome at a reasonable cost.
I space tutorials with ample time in between so that we can get things covered effectively without time pressures.

There are no contracts to sign.
